| Details: AcoustiCase™ is a range of PC cases that include a kit of designed and pre-cut acoustic materials with comprehensive instructions for easy assembly. Self-assembly will normally take between 25-30 minutes for each case.
Cooling
The acoustic materials have been carefully designed to maintain and optimize
the cooling efficiency of each case. Cool air is drawn from outside over the
CPU and warm components, is warmed, and then expelled by the power supply
unit (PSU) and internal case fans (optional). We recommend system and component
temperatures are monitored closely if no internal case fans are used. Note:
Internal case fans or a PSU are not supplied with any of the cases in the
AcoustiCase™ range in order to allow for the option of installing quiet
components.
Safety
The acoustic materials have been carefully selected to meet flammability
standards and have been thoroughly tested in this respect.
AcoustiCase™ C6607A (Beige)
We recommend this case for the following users/useage:

- Small Business Servers, Graphics and Video Workstations (where
multiple HDD are essential)
- Performance Gaming and Overclocked Specialist Systems
We have been asked many times for a case that has a higher internal capacity
than the AC C6606 and still runs cool and extremely quiet. After much seeking
we have found a case that fits the requirements and meets our own high standards
for quality and with pleasure we can now announce the launch of a new AcoustiCase™.
PC Case
This is a feature-rich Super Midi ATX tower case, available in Beige
with a high quality matt finish. The case is particularly well suited for
building 'performance' systems that are near silent. The case and materials
are sold as a unit together with detailed assembly instructions (see below).
This case has many 'quiet' features, including accommodation for 2 x 120mm
internal quiet case fans (not supplied), anti-vibration rubber-mountings on
the HDD cage and low-vibration feet as standard. Once fitted with acoustic
materials, and containing quiet components this case will help to make a very
cool and quiet system - and is well suited for computers with multiple hard
disk drives that require good (and dust-free) airflow.

Acoustic Materials Kit (AP C6607)
The AcoustiCase™ C6607 acoustic materials kit has been designed for
maximum acoustic effectiveness whilst allowing free air flow necessary for
cooling. Installation should be trouble free - the kit comes with detailed
instructions (see PDF link below), and an online fitting guide with images
(see link below). The acoustic materials kit is comprised of no less than
17 parts including; pre-cut 7mm self-adhesive acoustic composite parts for
lining all four internal walls (including the complete side panel behind the
motherboard), and acoustic foam blocks for unused drive spaces for both noise
absorption and ducting airflow over installed devices. The kit also features
a unique optional washable air filter.
The AP C6607 kit is also now available separately as a pre-cut AcoustiPack™
kit: because it fits the Antec SLK3700AMB (and a large proportion
of the kit also fits the Compucase 6A19, and Antec SLK3700BQE models). |
