Processor Cooling for Peace and Performance!

There are no other coolers on earth designed like these. Now you can have excellent cooling performance but at the same time virtually no noise! The products employ advanced fin designs which give a vastly superior surface area to that offered by traditional extrusion-based products. Different versions are available to suit a variety of processors, and because of their unique design, the coolers are not only incredibly efficient at removing heat but are also very easy to install.

The Flower Cooler includes a new fan assembly (FB123) with an adjustable bracket and a bigger fan for better cooling performance.

The new fan assembly can be positioned to provide optimal cooling in almost any motherboard/standard case configuration and allows an additional fan to be installed for cooling a NP VGA Card.

Features

  • CPU Flower Coolers do not generate noise and vibration in Silent Mode.
  • The heat dissipating material of the Flower HeatSink (FHS) is Pure Copper.
  • Separation of the FHS from the CPU fan prevents transfer of the fan's vibration to the CPU.
  • By utilizing a 92mm fan, both the CPU and the motherboard chipset are cooled.
  • The cooling fan can be mounted at any desired location, making it compatible with virtually all computer cases and motherboards
(Note: computer cases that have the power supply covering the CPU can not be used).
  • With the included adjustable fan speed connector, the user can freely adjust the CPU fan's RPM.
  • CPU can be cooled to a temperature sufficiently below the temperature required by the CPU manufacturer in Silent Mode.
  • CPU Flower Coolers enable very stable operation of a CPU in an OVERCLOCKED environment.

* When OVERCLOCKING, the fan must be in Normal Mode. * Quiet PC is not responsible for any damage to a system or a CPU caused by CPU OVERCLOCKING.

Product Overview

This amazing and beautiful new product is as versatile as it is effective. It will work on virtually any socketed CPU, AMD or Intel. We are recommending this cooler for the new Athlon XP+ series processors and it will work fine for CPU's up to and over the XP 2600+. The heatsink consists of 56 flat copper fins, compressed very tightly together at one one end and clamped between two aluminium blocks. Two very strong hex head bolts are used to keep the assembly together, and once tightened, the base of the cooler is machined totally flat, and polished so it gleams, in order to gain the best possible heat transfer from the CPU. The fins fan out like petals on a flower, giving the absolute maximum possible surface area for effective heat dissipation.

You may be wondering how a fan is mounted on such a strangely-shaped heatsink. The answer is - it isn't! An Ultra-Quiet 92mm fan is supplied with the product but it is not mounted directly to the heatsink. Instead, it is suspended above it using a cleverly-designed adjustable bracket which affixes to the PC chassis by sharing the two or three screws which are used to secure PCI/AGP cards. Taking this approach allows a larger fan diameter (92mm) which means the fan blades can rotate slower to produce a given amount of airflow, hence less noise. In addition, no vibration is transmitted from the fan into the heatsink which is again good from a noise point of view, and is also better for the processor itself.

Note to owners of Slot A Athlon: This product will provide a solution to your noise problem if you retain your existing heatsink, but instead of using the fan(s) mounted on the Slot A heatsink, use the fan and mounting bracket supplied with this flower heatsink. Your Slot A Athlon will be adequately cooled in near-silence!

Model CNPS6000-Cu
Dimensions 63 (w) x 95~110 (l) x 65 (h) mm
Noise Level 20.0dB~32.0dB
Weight 462g
Dissipation Area 2600~2900 cm2
Thermal resistance 0.23°C/W (0.31°C/W with resistor cable)

The cooler is supplied in a boxed kit of parts, with all the items you need for a successful installation. These include: Flower heatsink, 2 x retention clips (one spare), 92mm Ultra-Quiet fan with 3-pin connector, fan mounting bracket, screws, syringe of thermal compound, noiseless resistor cable, heatsink installation tool and instruction manual with pictures.

Because a large (92mm) fan is used, the motherboard and other components in the PC will benefit from the extra airflow. This is especially useful when a motherboard is equipped with our silent motherboard heatsink. The resistor cable included with the product can optionally be used to lower the fan voltage and this makes it run slower and even quieter (almost silent). Where greater importance is placed on cooling, the cable can be omitted and the CPU will run cooler as a result of increased airflow.

How is it done?

  1. Firstly, because the fins have a very large effective surface area, less air needs to be shifted to produce a given rate of cooling. Therefore the fan can run slower and this produces much less motor bearing and wind noise.
  2. Secondly, because the fins are located perpendicular to the direction of airflow, minimal obstruction is caused to air being moved through the cooler and this reduces turbulence, decreasing wind noise even further. A lower fan speed also has the added benefits of a longer running life and a reduction in the build-up of dust, which is a common cause of premature component failure.
  3. Finally, for maximum thermal conductivity, the products are precision made from copper, which is 92% more conductive than aluminium. Although copper is more expensive, most customers agree that the cost is worth it for the performance. CPU coolers don't get more efficient than this!

AMD - Socket 462 (A) Quiet CPU Cooler CNPS6000-Cu CPU - Quiet CPU Fans and Quiet Computer PC Parts by Zalman

AMD - Socket 462 (A) Quiet CPU Cooler CNPS6000-Cu CPU is a great Quiet CPU Fans and Quiet Computer PC Parts by Zalman. Enjoy the great selection of Quiet CPU Fans and Quiet Computer PC Parts

We carry a large selection of quiet CPU fans. Our products have been hand picked to ensure that you receive the most silent CPU fans available on the market. Eliminate loud CPU fan noise. Get rid of your noisey CPU fan. Purchase these to get rid of that loud CPU fan noise. Older CPU coolers used heat sinks with a relatively small surface area, coupled with a fixed RPM high-speed fan to move air over the small surface area. Newer CPU cooling systems may use copper instead of aluminum for better heat transfer, and elaborate heat sink designs that dissipate more heat into the air. If you couple these with a large fan, the fan can rotate more slowly, further reducing noise levels even further. This is a common technique to get a quiet computer fan. Some heat sink/fan designs, as used in some products pioneered by Zalman, don’t couple the two components directly; the fan used in this example may be much larger than traditional designs, and suspended over the silent CPU heat sink by a special frame that connects to the PC chassis. This reduces CPU fan noise dramatically due to using a larger fan, and minimizing noise-causing air flow effects and helps create a silent CPU fan for your needs. Quiet CPU fans are the best solution for loud CPU fan noise. Silent CPU fans can do just a good of a job cooling the CPU but without the loud CPU fan noise. There are also some new models of CPU coolers and quiet CPU fans that have special sealed internal channels which contain chemical gases that cool more efficiently than traditional pure solid elements such as aluminum or even copper.

Some newer CPU's themselves had an improved physical architecture incorporating a narrower internal buss width and generates far less heat as a result. This combined with silent CPU fans can help lower CPU fan noise. Quiet CPU fan upgrade kits usually include thermal “grease,” a paste that maximizes thermal conductivity between the heat sink and the CPU. But it’s worth spending a little more for something like Arctic Silver 5, which has a special formulation incorporating a high-density filling of micro silver and thermally conductive ceramic particles. Get rid of that loud CPU fan and replace it with a silent CPU fan today. Work in peace with a quiet CPU fan.
